Mine to TakeMine to Take by Cynthia Eden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The premise for this book was good, but I had a hard time becoming immersed in it. The hero, Trace Weston, was a little to pushy and “MINE!” for me; he needed a few more redeeming qualities besides just loving Skye nearly to death. Skye Sullivan also frustrated me. I do not like wilting-lily heroines and, despite her attempts to boost her courage, she came off as more whiny and weak than endearing to me.

The chemistry between them was pretty good but had little build up and I felt the love scenes could have been a little more fleshed out. With all the high review scores Ms. Eden’s books usually garner, I was expecting much more and I’m sad to say I only nominally enjoyed Mine To Take. I didn’t love or hate it… it was just okay.
