Guest Book & Giveaway (US/Int): Interview with charming, bashful Shane from Her Accidental Boyfriend by Robin Bielman
Give a warm Gravetells welcome to author Robin Bielman!
Hey everyone! I’m so happy to be here on GraveTells today to celebrate my latest release from Entangled Publishing’s Bliss line, HER ACCIDENTAL BOYFRIEND! And guess who I bumped into on my way here? My hero, Shane Sullivan. ~ Shane raises his eyebrows ~ Okay, so maybe I actually kind of hijacked him on his way to work this morning, but once I told him it was to be with you guys, he was totally okay with it.
Hiya, Shane!
Hey, Robin.
So I thought I’d just throw some fun questions at you so the GraveTells readers could get to know you better.
Sounds like a plan. ~ Shane smiles ~
~ I try to keep from melting ~ If you were a car, what kind would you be?
Oh, so it’s going to be those kinds of questions. ~ he shakes his head but keeps his smile ~ I’d be some kind of sports car. The faster, the better.
Hey, I like to drive fast, too. Okay how about if you were a movie, what would you be?
An action film where I could do kick-ass stunts.
Worst knock-knock joke you’ve used on a girl?
~ very slowly the corners of Shane’s mouth lift like he’s remembering ~ Knock, knock? Who’s there? Kiss. Kiss who? Kiss me.
~ I laugh ~ Have you ever stayed up all night talking to someone?
Just recently, actually. Kagan and I pulled an all-nighter. Although we did a little more than talk. ~ he raises his eyebrows ~
Only a little?
~ Shane laughs this time ~
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Confident, loyal, happy.
Can you juggle?
You bet.
What was your last dream about?
My last dream… Kagan and I were in New York, standing at the top of the Empire State Building. We both jumped off because we could fly and then we tooled around the city getting a birds-eye view before we landed at a quiet deserted spot in Central Park where we then…
What a, ahem, fun dream. What do you like on your toast?
That depends on what I’m eating with it. If it’s eggs, then I like butter. If I’m only eating toast, then I slap on some peanut butter. When I was young my mom made me cinnamon toast all the time and I loved it.
Moms are the best. Okay since we’ve got a bunch of readers here, what was the last book you read?
Cold Days by Jim Butcher. The guy writes great urban fantasy.
I agree! Last question. If you were a tree, what would be carved on your trunk?
That’s easy. Shane + Kagan forever.
Aww. Thanks for hanging out with me for a bit, Shane! I’ll let you get to work now.
It’s been a pleasure.
Oh, hey, if any of DavinciKittie’s readers want to ask you their own question, will you chime in with an answer?
Absolutely.
You heard it guys… ask away!
Faking it with this flirt never felt so real…
Kagan Owens has a secret. One she thought she’d escaped by leaving New York, but when her past follows her to her temporary new life, Kagan lets a teeny lie slip. And now the town’s biggest playboy and flirt, Shane Sullivan, has become her pretend boyfriend—just until she’s ready to return to NYC. But the handsome, fun-loving Shane makes it tough to determine where their friendly agreement begins and ends…
Shane has no intention of settling down—in fact, his job depends on it, and nothing’s more important than his work. Still, he can’t help but agree to Kagan’s scheme, if only to find out more about the mysterious beauty. But when every touch from her sets his heart and body on fire, he realizes playing an accidental boyfriend may be more than he bargained for—and more than he can give.

What was she doing? Danger, Kagan Owens! Flirting with Shane when her fortitude was already caught in his too-likeable presence like a bear’s paw in honey meant trouble deeper than the sea.
“Kay?” he said when she hadn’t continued.
“Nothing.” She popped to her feet. “So what’s this surprise you have for me? It must be something really big since you’ve got nothing on you.” She stretched her neck in a gesture to look around him.
He took hold of her waist, brought her close. She loved that he liked to touch her, that he couldn’t seem to help himself. It was foolish, but true. His muscled chest brushed her soft one and her legs went a little limp. Good thing he held her.
“I’m going to discover that nothing before this week is over,” he said, his voice husky.
Oh my. Zings of pleasure wove a maze through her body. You should go for it, Charlotte had said. And more and more Kagan could see the value of benefits to their friendship. For one, it would ease the growing ache between her legs whenever he stood near. For two, she hadn’t had sex in way too long and who better to help her get back in the game than the sexiest guy she’d ever met? And third, if they really wanted to sell this relationship, the afterglow she was sure would flare like the North Star for days ought to do the trick.
“Umm…” Her brain cells had taken a vacation.
“You are damn cute when you’re flustered, Jelly Belly.”
She twisted out of his arms. “You’re infuriating.”
“And good-looking.”
“Maddening.”
“Hot.” He smirked.
Oh my God. How was it he could be so full of himself and humble at the same time? His teasing voice wiped out any ego.
“The surprise?” she asked, hands on her hips.

I would hate the nick name Jelly Belly.
Hi Anne! My older son has always hated nicknames. He’s always only wanted to be called by his name. Although, as he’s gotten older I can throw in a honey or sweetie once in a while and he doesn’t mind. Thanks for stopping by!
