Spotlight on The Tears of Elios: Meet Crista McHugh’s Gregor & Ranealya
Tears of Elios author Crista McHugh brings us a taste of her book today, with this dialogue excerpt between characters Gregor and Ranealya.
Gregor: I’ve always wondered why the kingdom has taken such a hard stance against your race.
Ranealya (morphing into the image of a prior king): Wouldn’t you worry about someone that could mimic anyone or anything? Think of the trouble we could cause.

Review: Moon Called (Mercy Thompson book #1) by Patricia Briggs
Mercy Thompson got a History degree and ended up working as a Volkswagen mechanic. She's also a coyote shapeshifter with the local uber hottie alpha werewolf for a neighbor. Like the Coyote of Navajo legend, trouble and danger seem to follow wherever she goes. She also can't seem to turn away from someone in need - even if they're a young lone wolf with control issues. Moon Called is a GraveTells Recommended Read!

Tasked with stopping their father from finding the Book of the Dead and taking over the human world, Keegan and his 3 half-demon brothers must keep that power out of their father's hands at any cost, even if it means eliminating the human heir to the spell - the only person alive who can cast it. Things aren't so simple though, after Keegan meets Brynn. How can he destroy something that has become so precious to him? Is he willing to forsake his brothers and his mission to save the life of the love he never thought he'd have? Rosalie Lario's Blood of the Demon is a GraveTells "must-read"!

Review: Within the Flames (Dirk & Steele #11) by Marjorie M. Liu
For ten years after witnessing the brutally slow and torturous murder of her family, Lyssa lives on the run in constant fear and wariness. Eddie, finally starting to get a handle on his life after a slip of his nearly uncontrollably deadly ability as a child left him homeless and penniless, sets out on what he thinks is a simple mission to rescue a shapeshifter in New York City. Unbeknownst to them both, a deadly foe has been quietly tracking Lyssa and has some nasty and sinister plans for her. Eddie and Lyssa must either band together and fight back as a team, or watch all they love crash and burn around them. Within The Flames is a GraveTells recommended read.
