Three prince romances that—unlike #aChristmasPrince—you’ll actually want to finish

A Christmas Prince. Netflix's original holiday movie is making the social media rounds as a flick "so bad it's good". It's practically already a classic. And if you haven't seen it, thank your lucky stars and keep it that way. I mean, what romantic doesn't love a good fairy tale with royalty and a happy ending? But I'm telling you, A Christmas Prince is not 'so bad it's good', it's just bad—and not even bad enough to make a drinking game out of. Save your brain cells—and your Friday night—for a few royal romances you'll actually enjoy. The book is always better anyway, right? His Royal Favorite (His Royal Secret #2) by Lilah Pace #BookReview

His Royal Favorite by Lilah Pace is the second half of the story started in His Royal Secret, and you should absolutely not read this as a standalone. The events in His Royal Favorite follow the first book immediately and there's very little catch up, so readers starting at book two will find themselves very confused. His Royal Secret (His Royal Secret #1) by Lilah Pace #BookReview

I overall enjoyed this story—enough to stay up reading it till 2am on a work night—but I didn't adore it. I wanted the emotional arc to be stronger. James is believable, and his open, honest spirit balances Ben's more callous self-protective measures, but the relationship didn't sizzle or pop. I'm looking forward to following the other side of this huge moment the story forecasts, and seeing how the intensity in the men's relationship progresses.

GT’s Top Romance Picks for 2015! #GTBA15 #BookBloggers

2015 was a hectic year for me personally, so I DNF’d a higher-than-usual number of books. Or maybe my newfound impatience with lagging pacing and meh storylines is just a side effect of getting older. In any case, that means that any story I actually finished last year left a memorable impression. This short list of romances represents the best of the best from my 2015 reading list. If none of the stories I’ve chosen are already close to your own heart, I hope you’ll give them a try. THANK YOU to all the authors below for your stellar work and for entertaining me when I needed it most. Much <3!
