Author JB Lynn shows us how fun Fundies can be at a chilly beach seance with a slightly neurotic hitwoman #CMCon17 #FlashFiction #giveaway

Just the title, Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman, makes me giggle. I figured any story bold enough to use that long and unique of a title must be born from a healthy sense of humor, and boy was I right! JB "Jen" Lynn is one of my 2017 Coastal Magic Convention Featured Authors, and when I sent her these prompts for her Flash Fiction post, I wondered how the Fundies would go over. But not to worry AT ALL, because Jen took every prompt I gave and worked them into a gem of a story! Take a few minutes to read this one, folks: it's hilarious! =D

Book Review: Hard As You Can (Hard Ink #2) by Laura Kaye

*** This review is spoiler-free! Read on with confidence! ***

One of the great things about a Laura Kaye story is you can always count on intense emotion without over-used cliques or boring predictability. Hard As You Can is a standout contemporary romance that honors its ex-military special forces heroes, representing these men in a way that feels realistic, respectful, and grounded. Crystal, in the fine tradition of many of Ms. Kaye’s other memorable heroines, brings an alluring mix of [...]

*** This review is spoiler-free but does contain references to previous books in the series and the Night Prince companion series. ***
I used to get a rush from going on a hunt, but as much as I wanted Madigan dead, if I could have traded killing him myself for all of this being over, I would. In a hot second. Maybe this is what people called getting older.
Don is as mysterious and tight-lipped as ever and Ian, one of my favorite secondary [...]

Early Book Review: Wulfe Untamed (Feral Warriors #8) by Pamela Palmer

Wulfe Untamed by Pamela Palmer

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

*** This review is spoiler-free! Read on with confidence! ***

With this 8th and final installment in the Feral Warriors series from Pamela Palmer, the epic battle between the last remaining Therian shifters protecting our world and the Daemon-possessed Mage trying to destroy it finally comes to a heart-pounding, action-packed, and all-around satisfying conclusion.

Where many of the previous books in the series ended on a cliffhanger, leaving the Ferals and their Radiant in some sort of distressing peril, the events that unfold in Wulfe Untamed finally give the warriors their [...]
