Kiss & Tell Tour: Guest Post by Stacey Kennedy, author of A Deadly Whisper
Let’s give a big, warm welcome to Stacey Kennedy, author of A Deadly Whisper!
|Huge thanks to GraveTells for welcoming me today! I typically write Urban Fantasy Romance, which means my hero and heroine stays the same in each book of the series. But when the idea for The Watchers series hit me, I decided to try my hand at paranormal romance. And oh, what fun I had!
Trust me when I say, I wasn’t expecting that I would enjoy it as much as I did. I really love the idea of seeing two characters grow within numerous books so I kept thinking that I was going to end up wanting to write more from Knox and Paxtyn. But as I started the second book in the series, Whispers of Evil, I found that I could have the best of both worlds. Paxtyn and Knox could still play major roles in book two, but I loved how the story was told from a new hero and heroine.
|Add in the fact that all the men in The Watchers series are sexy warriors who fight evil, share a soul-bond to their Watcher, and it really was thrilling to write each of these books. But I will say that if I couldn’t include the characters from the previous novels, I think I would weep. Knox and Paxtyn were fun characters to write and I’m all too happy that I get to write two more books with them in it.
I’d love to hear what you enjoy more: a paranormal romance where you still get the same characters in the stories, but from another perspective? Or an urban fantasy romance where the lead characters remain the same?
