Giveaway & Spotlight on: Untouched and the Amoveo Legend by Sara Humphreys

by davincikittieMarch 30, 2012

Please help me welcome award-winning author Sara Humphreys to GraveTells today!

Sara Humphreys is the author of the Amoveo Legend series, published by Sourcebooks Casablanca.  Untouched is the second installment in this great new saga about immortal shapeshifters and their struggles against unseen enemies… some within their own ranks.  Unleashed, the first book in the Amoveo series, was voted as the GraveTells Readers Choice Favorite Book of 2011, bringing in over 1400 voters and beating out J.R. Ward’s Lover Mine by a nail-biting 22 votes.

Untouched, Amoveo’s second book, focusing on Dante and Kerry, releases on April 3rd.  Click here to pre-order it in paperback or have it delivered straight to your Kindle! I recommend having a tissue handy to catch the drool from ogling this incredibly sexy cover.  Mmmm, Dante!

Take it away, Sara!

Hi! Thank you so much for having me as a guest at GraveTells Reviews today. I can’t believe that the release day of UNTOUCHED is less than a week away. It seems like just yesterday my agent was calling to tell me that she sold the Amoveo Legend series to Deb Werksman at Sourcebooks.

Which by the way was the best phone call ever.

It’s amazing how fast things start to roll along once the first book in a series comes out. As soon as one book is turned in, I’m hammering away on the other one. Then just as I’m about to finish that one, I get the editorial phone call and edits for the previous book are next on the agenda. BUT WAIT! It doesn’t stop there because right around that time, there’s the email asking for the launch materials for next year’s book. Phew! Hey…I’m not complaining…at all. In fact, I love the fast paced nature of publishing and all the deadlines that come with it.  I guess it falls under the old adage…time flies when you’re having fun.

Untouched Blog Tour

Over the next few weeks I’ll be blogging all over cyberspace and Sourcebooks is giving away a ton of books! Here’s the link to blog tour info for those of you who’d like to participate.

http://www.amoveoromanceseries.blogspot.com/p/october-blog-tour-for-unleashed.html

I’m also embarking on a book tour at various B&N’s and even a Walmart. You can find all the city stops here.

In addition to the books that we’re giving away on the blog tour, I’ll be running a month long contest on my website and FB page.

Every week during the month of April, I’ll select one winner from my blog and FB commenters. The weekly prizes are things like mugs, notebooks, a tote bag and t-shirts. Then on the last day of April I’ll be giving away a Grand Prize which is a tote bag full of all the weekly prizes and a Nook simple touch–which was donated by Kelly, the amazingly cool CRM at my local B&N!

Sign up for my newsletter if you’d like more information on that, as well as, exclusive monthly contests.

Giveaway

Since the past year has gone by at a ridiculously fast pace, I have a feeling that the launch month for UNTOUCHED is going to pass in a blink. At this point, all I can do is grab onto my laptop and hang on for the ride.  So how about you? When life gets busy, does it fly by or go in slow motion? I’ll be giving away a signed copy of UNTOUCHED to one lucky commenter!

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment answering Sara’s question, then fill out the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!

Depends on the busy but usually it flies by. Although is sometimes interrupted by annoying slow moments when I have to do something I don’t want to. Thanks!

Hi jess- Thanks for coming by. I have to agree. There are times when things slow down to a snail’s pace but usually when I’m eagerly anticipating something 🙂

When life gets busy it definitely flies by.Its like the whole world is just turning faster and there’s nothing you can do about it.

I think it slows down. I end up being so focused on what I need to do and scheduling time to do it all. That makes me a lot more focused on the clock and deadlines which seems to make time go slower.

it depends. if it’s a good kind of busy, time’ll fly and suddenly it’s finished. but if it’s a bad kind of busy, time’ll feel like it just crawling in slow-mo.

I guess it will feel kind of slow at first, then suddenly speeds up 🙂

It depends if it’s a good busy or a bad busy, good busy goes by fast, bad busy goes by slow

For me, it seems to fly by in a flurry. The busier I am, the faster the time goes and the behinder I get.
I just want to say that your book covers for this series are beautiful. I can’t wait to learn more.

When life gets busy, I always feel it flying by me. One minute it is January then the next it’s March or even June and I’m wondering where the time went. Thank you for the opportunity to read your story. 🙂
