Early Book Review: Linger (In Vino Veritas #3) by Lauren Jameson

She imagined that some would say she had become a Domme because she wanted to exert control over her life after the chaos of her early years in the foster system. Perhaps that had played a part in her choices, but Scarlett was more inclined to think that she was just one of those people who needed something that the vanilla world couldn’t offer.

*** This review is SPOILER-FREE! Read on with confidence! ***

Right from the start, Linger is a pretty easy read, so I didn’t expect it to have such a mature view on the BDSM lifestyle. Many of the stories in this subgenre rely on swanky clubs and a rigid set of rules on which to base [...]

Book Review: Rising Assets (Maverick Montana #3) by Rebecca Zanetti

*** This review is SPOILER-FREE! Read on with confidence! ***

Rebecca Zanetti is an ace at writing strong, sexy alpha males with just the right balance of bossy charisma and tender emotion, and Rising Assets is a great example of how fun one of Ms. Zanetti’s heroes can be amidst all the drool-inducing testosterone. Colton, which is a fabulous name by the way, is the youngest Freeze brother and the financial genius of the family. Book Review: Cowboy Justice (Catcher Creek #2) by Melissa Cutler

Ms. Cutler must have been exorcising some serious demons when she wrote Cowboy Justice because it is raw and rough, emotionally and physically. You can almost reach out and touch the connection between Rachel and Vaughn, it's so strong and sometimes almost overwhelming, The weight of the personal responsibilities they both bear is enough to make me appreciate my cozy late mornings and nightly few minutes of free time. Even so, their story is passionate and packed with action and adventure. Rachel and Vaughn are both very strong, motivated individuals and 'stubborn' seems to be a trait they happily share. Cowboy Justice is a veritable roller coaster of emotion and 110% worth the [...]

Book Review: The Trouble With Cowboys (Catcher Creek #1) by Melissa Cutler

This book is really good. It starts off feeling like a cowboy fluff piece and blooms into a heartbreaking saga of love, loss, and the bonds between family, friends, and lovers. The writing is mature and elegantly appropriate and the characters will draw you right into their world of desert vistas and Southwestern charm, where the slower pace of life makes everything that much more rich and enjoyable. I just wanted a quick, smutty read for Cowboy Romance Week and this book completely demolished all my expectations, continually endearing me in to a story that opens up in its own sweet time. Sexy with heart, is what this book is. More please, Ms. Cutler! And I don't want to wait! The [...]
