Review: Promises (Syrenka Trilogy #1) by Amber Garr
Eviana is a mermaid who is faced with the responsibility of an arranged marriage and leading her Clan at the very young age of seventeen. The kicker? She already has a boyfriend who she's been with since childhood, and it's not the fella she's been 'promised' to. So what does she do? Well, she takes matters into her own hands and resolves to run away with the Selkie equivalent of Romeo Montague. Unfortunately, trouble is afoot and Eviana is faced with a difficult decision to make. Promises is a GraveTells Recommended Read!

Review: Wasteland (Wasteland #1) by Lynn Rush
David is the middleman between evil, and.. well, more evil. He is given the burden of securing his mark, a young girl who has the potential to save (or destroy) humankind. Little does he know that others are watching out for his mark as well. David certainly doesn't expect to fall in love with one of her guardians, and so he has a choice to make. In this battle of good versus evil, does David choose his heart or his soul? Wasteland is a GraveTells Recommended Read!

Review: Spiritus (Spiritus #1) by Dana Michelle Burnett
I was immediately intrigued by Burnett's unique twist on the stereotypical girl meets boy story. Ghosts! If that isn't out of the box, I don't know what is. The protagonist, Becca McCallistor, is an average high school student who's been uprooted from everything she knows in her home of Indianapolis, to Corydon. What she finds there is about to turn her world upside down.

Review: Unearthly (Unearthly #1) by Cynthia Hand
Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy. Unearthly is a GraveTells Recommended Read!
