Take a wicked ride with Rebecca Zanetti’s Kellach Dunne #giveaway #interview #booktour

by davincikittieJune 21, 2015

Hi all! Welcome to GraveTells. I talked Kellach Dunne into sitting down with us today for a quick interview.

Okay, well, I actually blackmailed him with information I’ve learned about his people (and they are SO not human), but same diff. He’s here, he’s ready to talk, and this is probably a one-time deal.

Kellach is big and broad with black hair and even darker eyes. He has a lovely Irish brogue, so I’m quite excited to hear him talk. Just so you know, Kell is the hero in Wicked Ride, which releases on June 23rd. Kell is an enforcer for the Coven Nine in Ireland, and he’s on a mission in the states to track down a dangerous drug called Apollo. The drug kills both humans and witches. Did I mention Kell is a fire-throwing witch? Well, he is. A fact he must keep from Seattle Vice Cop Alexandra Monzelle, who is also on the hunt for the drug manufacturer and dealers.

So, anyway….Kellach doesn’t know he’s about to meet up with a tough Seattle cop in the form of his destiny, so let’s not tell him. Okay?

GRAVETELLS: Thank you for sitting down with us today.
KELLACH: Of course. I’m always willing to sit down with blackmailers.
GT: Now, really. Come on. It’s not like your secret isn’t out there in the Dark Protector books.
KELL: Hmmm.
GT: Speaking of which, you’re still in contact with the Kayrs clan and all, right?
KELL: Of course. They pop up all the time, whether we like it or not.
GT: (Yeah, I was hoping that was the case. I’d like to read more about them). So, you rode motorcycles way back in HUNTED, and now you’re riding motorcycles in Seattle. I mean, you’ve actually joined a club, right?
KELL: Yes. My brothers and I have joined the Titans of Fire MC.
GT: Aren’t they, I mean, a little outside the law?
KELL: Who isn’t, darlin’?
GT: On my. Well, okay. Why motorcycles? What’s the attraction?
KELL: Whew – if you don’t know, then you and I are going for a ride after the interview.
GT: Double Oh My. Okay. Well, I guess that could be arranged. (Hey, it’s not like he has met the heroine from Wicked Ride yet. Give me a break. You’d say yes, too).
KELL: To answer your question, I like the freedom and sense of wildness you can get from riding a bike. It’s like there are no limits, and it’s you against physics.
GT: So, you like wild.
KELL: I love wild, sweetheart.
GT: Garblegoook. Ahem. Okay. So, between you and your two brothers, you’re the–
KELL: Wild one. I’m definitely the wild one. Daire, the oldest, is just plain cranky and bossy. Adam is the middle kid, the smartest one, and so scientific he gives me a headache. I’m the one who likes to ride against the wind.
GT: Do you think your mate will be wild?
KELL: (Clears throat). No. Probably not. I’ve always been attracted to fairly docile and sweet women. You know, the maternal type.
GT: Oh. That’s great. (I’m thinking Seattle Vice Cop Alexandra Monzelle isn’t anything close to docile or even sweet. Man, it’s going to be fun to watch Kell fall. After our ride on the bike, of course). So you’re in the states, you’re riding bikes, and you’re just what? Hanging out?
KELL: Nah. I’m on a mission, and I know you already know that. We’re chasing down an elusive drug that harms humans.
GT: (It harms witches, too, BTW). Oh, well, that’s so nice for you to look out for humans.
KELL: I’m a nice guy.
GT: The glint in your eye says even you don’t believe that.
KELL: Humph.
GT: Ah, what are you doing? There’s no need to stand up yet. We’re not quite—ACK (I’m suddenly upside down over a broad shoulder).
KELL: Let’s go for that ride now.
GT: I can walk.
KELL: Nope. Blackmailers don’t get to walk.
GT: Well, Geez. See everybody later!

Alexandra knew he moved, because she ended up face-first against the wall, but she didn’t see him move. He held her at least a foot off the ground with one arm wrapped around her waist.
A foot off the ground.
Her breath whooshed out of her lungs and tingles exploded in her abdomen. Her mind fuzzed.
He held her easily, his breath fanning the side of her neck. “My turn to frisk you,” he rumbled.

Wicked Ride (Realm Enforcers #1) by Rebecca ZanettiAlexandra Monzelle is a hard-fighting, heat-packing Seattle vice cop, and she’s not much interested in being protected. Her short skirt and sex-kitten heels are tools to lure her suspects into talking about the deadly new drug hitting the streets. She can take care of herself and then some. Unfortunately, she can’t seem to get that through to Kellach Dunne.

Kellach is a fresh import from Dublin, and he’s landed at the heart of a vicious motorcycle club that deals in guns, narcotics, and mayhem. He’s all male, all rough power—and all interference in her damn investigation. Maybe he’s one of the good guys. Maybe not. Lex knows an affair with an immortal like him would risk everything. No matter how delicious he looks…
