Architecture executive Greyson Crawford is used to getting what he wants and making no apologies for it. This guy has confidence to spare, and he wears it well. When he charms his way into being Evie’s date for a wedding she really shouldn’t even have to be attending, he’s damn near irresistible.

“Tell me it’s never crossed your mind what it would feel like to walk in there not like a sad third wheel but like a woman who owns the world.”
“And how would that ever happen?’
“You’ll have me on your arm.”
Her mouth twisted. “You’re pretty sure of yourself.”
“Angel, I am never the third wheel of anything,” he told her, dead serious. “I’m the engine, the accelerator, and the whole damn car.”
She swallowed deeply and studied him, hard. “All right,” she eventually said, “say I’m game and actually agree to this crazy plan, what do you get out of it?”
“I get you.” He brought his mouth close enough to tease her. She wanted his kiss, angling her head backward, parting her lips. He dragged his nose across hers, and added, “I get to have you in all the ways you know I want you. Beneath me, over me, against a wall, on your knees, screaming my name, whatever I want. Completely under my control.”
And to ensure there were no misunderstandings, he sternly added, “My game. My rules. Your surrender, until we’re back in Seattle.”

Holy… This guy. This guy right here is the kind of hero the billionaire CEO trope is grounded in. Because, the more he talks, the more cocky, confident, assumingly sexy things he says, the more I should want to hate him. But I don’t. And neither does Evie.

Dark-blond-haired, perfectly muscular, with a half sleeve of gray and black tattoos covering his right arm, he was what boys hoped to be when they grew up. But Grey also had something no other guy Evie had met before possessed, passion…and a lot of it. From day one, she knew she couldn’t date a guy like Grey. The kind of man who made women fall in love with him because he was perfectly perfect in every way and then left them in broken pieces later because he couldn’t commit. He was that guy: rich, sexy as hell, and sensually delectable. But he was the type her mother always warned her about.

The first chapter of this book is unputdownable. It starts out by showing us just how in charge Grey is—and how much of a womanizer, albeit a responsible and respectful one—and then dives right into the emotional hook of the story: Evie’s best friend is marrying her ex-boyfriend, they expect her to be in the wedding, and it has finally hit her just how wrong this situation is. Then, in charges Grey, seeing the opening he needs to finally claim the woman he’s been eyeing for months. Now that her interior design contract with his firm is up, she’s totally fair game, and he’s all over it (and her).

She nodded. “Okay.”
He took her chin, tilting her eyes to lock onto his. “The proper reply is: ‘Yes, Grey, I agree to your terms.’”

Evie is such a sweetheart, she doesn’t know when to stand up for herself, always puts other people’s feelings first. Gray is her personality opposite, going after exactly what he wants, when he wants it, without shame and without concerns about what anyone else thinks about it.

She began chuckling, euphoria dancing through her. “Oh, my God, you’re so much better than Dean.”
Grey rose on his hands, hovering over her, and narrowed his eyes on her. “Saying another man’s name while my cock is still buried inside you is not a wise decision, Evie.”
She grabbed the vibrator off the bed and held it up. “This is Dean.”

I loved the geek and pop culture references (bet you can guess who “Dean” is named after!). In fact, I ended up humming the Star Wars theme for a day. I also love when romances ends with a tidy, heart-warming epilogue, and Skirt Chaser wraps up on all the right notes.

A solid billionaire erotic romance with a little kink to spice up the bedroom play, Skirt Chaser is a GraveTells recommended read!

Recommended for readers who like stories with…

  • Wealthy, powerful, in-charge businessmen heroes
  • Kind-hearted, emotionally strong heroines
  • Exotic destination settings
  • Light power exchange dynamics
  • Quick pacing and smoking hot sex scenes

If you’re new to the Filthy Dirty Love series, you can go back and pick up book 1, Heartbreaker. You don’t need to read them sequentially, so you can just jump in and read Skirt Chaser if you don’t want to spend time catching up (that’s what I did, and I didn’t feel I missed out on anything  mentioned in the first book).

If architecture is your thing and you enjoy college age heroes, check out Ruth Clampett’s gay romance Unforgiven. This one starts out fun, goes a little dark, and ends on a high note. Check it out on Amazon here (free on Kindle Unlimited as of this posting!):

Love gets filthy in this new erotic romance by USA Today bestselling author, Stacey Kennedy.
Greyson Crawford works hard by day and plays even harder at night. And he understands and obeys the rules of the game. One, don’t mix business and pleasure. Two, employees are off-limits. So, he’s been eagerly counting down the days until interior designer, Evie Richards is no longer under contract with his Seattle architecture firm. But when that day comes, he realizes there are more obstacles in his way. The biggest…Evie herself.
Until Evie gets asked to be the maid-of-honor in her best friend’s destination wedding, and Evie needs a date. The circumstances are perfect for Greyson to set his plan of seduction into motion. He will happily play the boyfriend for the wedding event, if Evie will surrender to his every command and play in his bed.
For Evie, it’s all fun and games until Greyson’s first touch; then she begins to question what’s real. She knows better than to fall for a guy like Greyson—a skirt chasing ladies’ man—but with every slow caress and kinky adventure, she realizes that Greyson knows what he wants, and it isn’t just her body surrendering to him…it’s her heart.
