Part 5 of 6: Meet the real Christopher from Eden Bradley’s Training House #giveaway #exclusive #GTSignature #Interview

by davincikittieApril 21, 2016

The interview is almost over—just one more after today’s installment—but today’s chat is definitely a memorable one and you won’t want to miss it! Hint: there’s talk of settling down menage-style and slaves in chains, two things you know pair quite nicely for Christopher if you’ve read Boy.

For quick reference, here is the full link listing:

PS- This interview also has some spoilers for Boy, so if you haven’t read that yet, you may want to stop here, go back and read Eden Bradley’s Boy.

He’s still staring at Eden—perhaps lost in his thoughts or the slice of personal perspective she just fed him—and I wonder if maybe their relationship is heavily skewed in Eden’s favor. She gets to plumb the depths of his soul for her stories, and he willingly—maybe blindly—submits to her pen as long as she keeps writing him.

“Christopher,” I inch back in my chair as the full power of those golden brown eyes (cat eyes, I swear) once again hits me. “Would you ever consider settling down with anyone?”

Those strong brows draw together. Christopher’s “thinking” face is broody, serious. And he’s really giving some thought to this question. “Yes.” He pauses, and I’m not sure he’s going to elaborate. Then, “That someone would have to be a very rare and special creature. And this is me we’re talking about here, so the definition of ‘settling down’ is probably a bit different than yours.”

I smile at that because he’s likely right. “Define ‘rare and special’.”

He shoots me a look like maybe I should already know this answer. I have read his book, Boy, after all, and Eden doesn’t give him any room to hide who and what he is in that story. If he even wanted to hide it. Christopher may be an exhibitionist, but he’s also an artist, expressive and vulnerable under all that macho and bluff, and I secretly suspect he’s searching for the happy ending he swears he can’t have. “There just aren’t too many fucking people that can get into my heart. I don’t let that shit happen. I have my reasons. But I think readers already know that Aimée and Damon have started to worm their way in there.”

I nod because, even though I don’t know how Eden plans to end this series, I can’t imagine Christopher will walk away separated from his lovers. Hell, if that happens, I’ll be heartbroken.

I feel a shift in the air, a subtle current of impending loss, as Christopher leans in. “Thanks for inviting me to this little chat. I have a slave or two chained up at home that I have to attend to.”

We both know I didn’t invite him. And that he wouldn’t leave a submissive unattended like that. But we also both know I had a really fucking good time getting to know him, even if he does completely overwhelm my senses. Christopher slides me a business card and says with one of his stunning, crooked grins, “If you’re into chains, give me a call.” He pushes back the chair, stands up, leans over to brush a quick kiss across Eden’s cheek, whispering something that makes her blush, then swaggers—as Eden says he always does—out the door in those ass-hugging jeans with his leather jacket slung over his shoulder.

The atmosphere in the room noticeably relaxes. Eden and I aren’t the only ones who just watched a very memorable man saunter out into the city, and the rest of the cafe’s patrons—male and female—seem nearly as affected as we are.

I pick up the business card. Sturdy, thick, textured black cardstock with elegant silver numbers raised across the center. Just the phone number, but I’ll never forget who this card belongs to. If you’re into chains…

I suddenly remember that I came here to interview Eden, and have totally gotten sidetracked. Not that I’m complaining, mind you. But still, time to get down to business. We look across the table at each other and break out laughing. It‘s refreshing, feels good to lift this tension I didn’t even know I was carrying, and I know we’re cool to go on with the rest of the interview.

I’m in total agreement with Dawn when it comes to being fascinated by ponies, so I not-so-subtly steer the conversation back to that. “How did you research the pony scene?” Eden quirks a brow at the blunt transition, then smiles warmly. I love how I can ask this woman pretty much anything.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Eden Bradley, the stunning conclusion of The Training House Series!

Master (Training House #3) by Eden BradleyIt’s the ultimate surrender…but can the Master truly become the slave?

I am no longer the Master, but simply Damon. I am reeling with shock. Love. The urgent desire to please the only man who could ever Master me—the wickedly beautiful Christopher. I know this because he once belonged to me. How do I cope with this unexpected, yet inevitable turn of events? How can I give myself over in the way a slave must? Perhaps because I must in order to have him. And it is the only way to be with our sweet Aimée.

She is our love, and her heart belongs to us both. My new Master claims to love me, but I doubt him. Even more, I doubt myself. I must find a way, and the path leads me there only through complete and utter submission, subjugation, handing over my soul. If I fail, I lose them both. A more cruel torture has never been devised. My heart breaks already, and it’s only just begun.

THE TRAINING HOUSE Series is Eden’s hardest-core BDSM yet! More ‘erotica’ than ‘erotic romance’, there will nevertheless be a love story woven throughout these very kinky pages.

WARNING: These books contains material that may be difficult to read about and/or cause triggers for some readers, including consensual non-consent and other scenes that could be disturbing. Do NOT try this at home!
