Micro-Review: Wicked Beat (Sinners On Tour #4) by Olivia Cunning
Wicked Beat is one of those stories that initially felt “off”, like a friend you just met and aren’t quite sure you’re gonna gel with just yet, and grew into a comfortable, quirky pal you can’t get enough of. This was my first foray into Sinners territory and I adored Eric’s and Rebekah’s sense of humor even when I didn’t get it. The secondary characters are all distinct and unique and appealing in their own right, especially Trey, the playboy guitarist who swings both ways and has more heart than I initially gave him credit for.
I loved that the story covers some serious ground as well as giving us a tantalizing glimpse into the life of a rock star, with all the highs & lows, glitter & dirt, craziness and normality.
I’m really looking forward to reading the next chapter in this band’s story, especially if it’s about Trey! If you haven’t read about Sinners and you like your heroes brilliantly quirky and your romance with lots of sex, more sex, and rock & roll, Wicked Beat is just the erotic romance for you!
