Hard to Serve (Hard Ink #4.7, Blasphemy #1) by Laura Kaye #BookReview
After his recent shooting and recovery, Detective Kyler Vance is riding a desk and is pissed about it. Top that off with an investigation by the new Police Commissioner to cull out the department's corrupt cops, and Kyler needs some release at his BDSM club more than ever. When Mia turns up at Blasphemy and catches Kyler's eye, he knows he can't give her more than playtime, and he knows that's a risky move—because this woman trips all his fantasies and he perfectly satisfies hers. When they realize just who Mia's dad is, how will their relationship survive?
This book is set in the Hard Ink story world and starts a brand new series focused on the twelve Masters of club Blasphemy.

Book Review: Officer Off Limits (a Line of Duty novel) by Tessa Bailey
The characters are nicely layered and all likable, even the secondary ones. The passion between Story (what a great name!) and Daniel is fierce and well-executed. I loved the way Daniel's hostage negotiation skills and Story's teacher psychology played into their interactions. This is a great read for anyone who enjoys a good policeman romance and likes their sex scenes hot and dirty!
