Guest Post: Omarati author DC Juris on making concessions
What does this all have to do with my writing? Not at lot, at first glance. But if you look closer at stories like Omarati, Finding Sanctuary, Relearning the Ropes, Where He Belongs, and the upcoming (in November) Orion’s Way, you’ll see a subtle pattern. I deal a lot with characters who struggle with their BDSM identities. Either Doms who worry they’ll go too far, subs who don’t understand the lifestyle and cravings just yet, subs who run from their Doms because of societal pressures, or Doms who have to relearn everything they know in order to accommodate the sub they love.

Review: Omarati by D.C. Juris
An enslaved werewolf who has been serving the same family since the Shifter War, Calliph has been well treated. He is living as the main servant of Obyn, the son of the man who owns him, when a chance meeting on board a ship with Mateo changes his life. Mateo is a werepanther and his Omarati, or soul mate. Will they be together forever, or will circumstance force them apart? GraveTells thinks its Worth A Look!

"I like the format of the reviews and it helps me decide if a book is a ‘go get this now’, ‘wait until you’re in the mood’, ‘maybe- if there’s nothing else to read’ or ‘probably not the book match for me’. I eagerly look to see what quotes are presented and I find the ‘if you like-’ comparisons possibly as telling as the actual review. Way to go, guys!"
