Begging For It (Asking For It #2) by Lilah Pace #BookReview #GTBA15

*** This review is SPOILER-FREE! Read on with confidence! ***

Fans of Lilah Pace’s Asking For It will be begging to get their hands on this second installment in the series that has the internet all a-twitter about that fine line between the fantasy of non-consensual sex and the harsh reality of rape. In the first chapter of the story, Ms. Pace briefly touches on a topic which has recently seen a flurry of criticism:

Book Tour & Giveaway: A look into non-con with an excerpt from Lilah Pace’s Asking For It

Book Review: Asking For It (Asking For It #1) by Lilah Pace #GTBA15

Asking For It strictly follows the prime directives of kink: Safe, Sane, and Consensual. The characters use safe words, negotiate limit lists (both what they will or won't do for "now" and for "ever"), and pre-plan their scenarios. There is an intimate level of trust established that is sacred and binding, and both characters respect what that represents and how it protects them while also binding them together even as total strangers. For those who enjoy the non-con subgenre of romance, Asking For It is a rare find.

"Thank you so much for the wonderful review, DVK! While I’m delighted you loved the book, I always enjoy your reviews, positive or negative, because you go into detail and give me a different perspective from when I was writing it. Plus, when you enjoy it to the point that you recall favorite scenes and quotes, it gives me the chance to recall my own favorite moments in the book (wink). Thank you again!" ~ author Joey W. Hill
