Thoughts:
Wow, is it hot in here or is it just me? This book has so much sexual tension in it you could probably build a mile wide bridge. The build up through the whole novella was completely worth the wait but DANG. Sometimes I just wanted to shake Michael and Eva!
So Eva Smyth. Everything you look for in a strong protagonist. Even though she feels like she might explode from the sexual tension, she holds her ground because she wants to make sure she’s making the right decision.
Michael. Oh. My. God. Can I have him please? He is the most perfect gentleman the whole book and he breaks your heart sometimes. If I can somehow find myself a Michael like this, I might just be in Heaven.
Rosalie did a fantastic job in allowing us to get to know the characters so well and getting character development into such a short story. The novella flowed and it didn’t feel choppy or as if major parts were being skipped over because its shorter length.
Memorable Quotes:
Stupid Propaganda….
“You’re Fallen. You want to destroy humans.” His laugh was harsh, grating. “Now you’re just spouting ignorant propaganda.”
I wouldn’t mind coming home to this…
Her gaze raked over the apron he’d borrowed. It barley covered his front, the words Naughty Hottie scribbled over the portion covering the top of his chest. Â So true.
Makes me want my down blanket to cuddle with…
They were so black they contained a tinge of blue. She lifted two fingers to stoke one of the wings. As she’d suspected, it felt soft as down, though the unmistakable strength of sinew rested beneath the soft feathers.

Final Thoughts:
This novella does a great job of giving you a full length novel feel in fewer pages. I didn’t feel I was missing out on anything nor did I feel like it ended too soon. The characters were well developed and it wasn’t too predictable as to what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed reading this book and will probably be picking up the next one in the series. For Love of an Angel is a recommended read!
