Micro-Review: Beyond the Edge (sequel to On the Edge & Out of the Box series) by Kallysten
Parts of this were really emotional and even unexpected (Brett freaking kills me and Leo makes me smile). The story covers a pretty good chunk of time (from before the pregnancy to after the birth) and explores the various emotional possibilities of a situation where a child is shared between two groups of lovers. Adding in the fact that more than half of them are vampires gives Beyond the Edge extra dimension. Some parts were slow but overall I really enjoyed this book. It has heat and menage, but don’t read it for that. Read it for the journey of these two “couples” as they come together to be a family in truth.
