Gabrielle Bisset takes us inside the prequel to her decadent Sons of Navarus series

Please help me give a warm welcome to sensational indie author Gabrielle Bisset!

Thanks to the great bloggers here at GraveTells for having me here today to talk about my prequel to my Sons of Navarus series, Vampire Dreams Revamped. Revised from the original novella, Vampire Dreams, that introduced readers to the character Vasilije. Vampire Dreams Revamped gives readers more about him in addition to the original’s hero and heroine, Brandon and Arden, and two other Sons of Navarus, who make cameo appearances. And this official prequel to the Sons series is even hotter than the original!

The decision to rewrite a past book was an easy one when readers were asking for more about the Sons. Novels take time to complete and I knew the next book in the series, Blood Spirit, wouldn’t be ready for release until September, but the chance to give fans a shorter taste of those delicious vampire warriors was right there in front of my eyes in my first novella. It had always been an unofficial prequel to the series because of the character of Vasilije, that decadent hedonistic vampire who readers had fallen in love with, so why not make it an official one?

But it isn’t just Vasilije whose part has been expanded in Revamped. Brandon and Arden’s relationship has been added to also, giving readers a fuller love story that is sweet and sensual at the same time, and new characters have been added too.

Here’s a taste of a new scene found in Vampire Dreams Revamped:

The idea of responding to readers’ requests for more of a series isn’t new, but because I’m an indie author, I’m able to do it much quicker. I’m only restricted by how much time I have to write, which unfortunately, with a full time job isn’t as much as I’d like. However, recently I began a series of free reads at my website related to the Sons series too. So in addition to a prequel, readers now have a short about Hades, the god of the Underworld, who’s set to make his appearance in an upcoming book in the series. Readers can find that story at my Free Reads page at http://www.gabriellebisset.com/free-reads.html I’ll be adding more soon, including a short with Vasilije in October.

It’s a great time to be an indie author, and the opportunity to connect with readers through these additional books and shorts makes it even better!

A Prequel to the Bestselling Sons of Navarus series!

A vampire for hundreds of years, Brandon Ridley is surrounded by others of his kind who enjoy their world to the fullest. Orgies, debauchery, and sensual delights leave him empty, though. What he wants is that one woman who will share his life.

Homeless and without any family, Arden Stephens must live on the streets of mid 19th century London, never a safe place for a young woman. One night, as she is running for her life from an attacker, she is rescued by Brandon and offered a place in his home as his maid. Brandon is enchanted by Arden from the moment they meet and yearns to make her one of his kind.

Nightly, he visits her in her sleep, preparing her for the night he will finally make her his own. For Arden, the wanton dreams she has about her handsome employer seduce her and each day when she wakes up, she finds herself more drawn to him. But love and desire aren’t enough for Brandon to sire her. He must first obtain the approval of his own sire, an ancient vampire named Vasilije who has thwarted his chance for happiness before.

But if Brandon can convince him, he may finally find the love he’s been without for centuries.
