Book Tour & Giveaway (Us/Int): Skin Deep’s Connor on the perks of being a werewolf
Please help me welcome author Sarah Mäkelä and Skin Deep’s hero, Connor!
Werewolves are my absolute favorite paranormal creature, so writing Connor Reilly in Skin Deep was like sampling the finest of chocolates. Mmmm… To be fair and get a werewolf’s insight, I’ve asked Connor to help me out today.
Hello everyone, I’m Connor Reilly. I hadn’t planned to be here with you all today, but Sarah insisted. For some reason, I felt compelled to give in to her whim, not that my girlfriend, Angelique, needs to know. I’m sure Sarah knows that I have to be at work soon, but she said this was important.
Yes, there are several amazing aspects of being a werewolf. We never get sick. That comes in handy during flu season. Diets? We don’t need them. With our body’s metabolism so high, we have to eat more than the average person. Although, that one risks being awkward when you’re out with humans. How do you explain the ability to eat 10 rare steaks plus sides when you hit the all-you-can-eat buffet? We have supernatural strength. Most of us are lovers of the outdoors. Running on four legs through the woods… there’s nothing like it. Doing it doggy style is… well… almost instinctual for us. *chuckles*
However, I have to admit, being a werewolf is not all fun. Don’t tell Sarah I said that. There is a hierarchy in the Pack. If you’re not dominant and able to hold your place, there’s a good chance that whoever is above you will walk all over you. I personally don’t believe in treating the submissive wolves poorly. They deal with enough from others. But no matter how dominant you are, you have to deal with Pack politics… unless you’re the Alpha, and well… then you have to make sure the Pack is running smoothly.
Pack politics can make you crazy if your Alpha gives a command that is in direct opposition to what you want. I’m facing that right now. I’m hoping that issue will resolve itself soon. *glares at Sarah*
Ahem, I think that’s enough for now, Connor! I’ll handle the rest of this. *gulp*
As you can see, there’s a reason why I love werewolves. I’d love to hear what you think of them!

What a fascinating story line. Fabulous!!
Sounds like a volatile matchup!
A panther and a wolf shifters…both have secret of their own and thinking that the other is a normal human being. Things are never as they seem.
