Book Boyfriend Love Letters: Vanity, by IMP
My Dearest Korbin,
Now that Cade has finally gotten over his obsession with revenge and has settled down with his mate, I have hopes that you come to the conclusion that women are not something to be toyed with. Would that be too idealistic of me? To believe that you would learn from your Alpha’s example?
Don’t get me wrong, I get it, that blond hair and those blue eyes are enough to make most women swoon. Many a woman, I am sure has caved in to your desires at a flash of those dimples. Even the most hardened would find it hard to resist. I’d ask if you had a clue how you affect women, but we both know you revel in it. You’re a born heartbreaker and you’re proud of it. I understand now that you like not being chained down to one woman. You have no desire to change that any time soon. Which is why, sadly, I must say goodbye to you before you break my heart as you have broken so many others.
But before I go, I want to give you one last piece of advice. Be careful whose heart you toy with next. Because mark my words, the day will come when you will finally meet someone who will not be impressed by the breadth of your shoulders and those baby blues of yours. And although I know that this woman can never be me, I can’t help but hope that she’s a Latin firecracker who will be unaffected by your charm. She will put you in your place and hopefully lead you by the nose until she is good and ready to put you out of your misery. And I only wish to have a front row seat to watch that happen.
