SyFy’s Being Human renewed for a second season

by davincikittieMarch 18, 2011

BH fans, rejoice!  SyFy has renewed its American version of the hit BBC series Being Human for a second season.  Fans who can’t get enough of Aidan (the vampire), Josh (the werewolf), and Sally (the ghost) will be relieved to know they’ll get to see a lot more of the humanity-challenged trio next year.

According to Reuters.com, SyFy’s BH “has averaged 1.8 million viewers so far in its first season, making it the cable network’s most successful winter scripted series launch in six years.  Syfy is also touting “Being Human” as its most female-skewing series to date, with women making up 53 percent of its viewers.”  I’m sure that has nothing to do with Sam Witwer’s tortured & angsty portrayal of the smokin’ hot Aidan, or Sam Huntington’s witty super-sensitive & conflicted Josh (does anyone else want to just grab him and pinch his cheeks?  He is SO ADORABLE!!).

On a related note, fans of the SyFy ultra-makeup reality competition series “Face Off” will be glad to know it is also being renewed for a second season.

Hmm may have to watch this show. You know, it being about vampires and all! 🙂

You know, I was skeptical at first, but the first episode totally sold me. I like the cinematography style, the set & prop choices, the actors (of course!), and the music is really stellar (and hauntingly appropriate!).

I’m not usually into weres, but Josh is just fantastic. And I swear Aidan is channeling a little Angel, which is always eye candy…

Sally was annoying in the first few episodes, but she’s really growing on me too!

I believe you can watch episodes right on the SyFy website, if you don’t get the channel.
