Shades of Pink and reading for a cause with Kallysten
As you may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Last year, I hosted a month-long event on my site, and with the help of wonderful readers we raised $250 for research. This year, I decided to ask other authors to join me in my fundraising efforts. Thirty-two of them, from veteran authors to writers new to the craft, were up to the challenge.

Hmmm…I’ve often asked myself this question—and I’ll admit, I’m by no means an expert.
I went into this writing gig knowing that I would have to work my patooty off in order to get where I wanted to be. I dreamed of signing with an agent and seeing my name and titles plastered across all of the lists.
