Book Review: Blood Roses (Blackthorn #2) by Lindsay J. Pryor

Blood Roses was an awesome continuation of the Blackthorn series. Not only are Pryor’s characters and fathomlessly dark love stories fabulous, but her continual world building of Blackthorn blows me away. Blood Roses is a highly recommended read!

Early Book Review: SEAL of Honor (HORNET #1) by Tonya Burrows

SEAL of Honor was a good read. There were parts that felt a little unfinished, but I really enjoyed the myriad of vibrant characters and the unique team dynamic of Gabe's crew. I'm looking forward to the next H.O.R.N.E.T. installment to see whose brain we get to pick next!

Caleb is every bit as ruthless, unpredictable, alpha, and manipulative as I'd hoped and Leila had a fighting spirit that made her an excellent match for him. One of my favorite things about Ms. Pryor's writing is how she sets the scene so vividly and masterfully so you feel you're there in the moment without being distracted by lengthy, unnecessary descriptions. Stay tuned for our official full review by Molly! I'd have liked to see a little more of Blackthorn, however, and the conclusion between Leila and Caleb felt a little unfinished, but this storyline is absolutely [...]
