Darkness Shifting (Tides of Darkness #1) by Sarah L. Blair #BookReview
The Tides of Darkness series is off to a wonderfully strong start! It’s got a distinct and relatable cast of characters, rich mythology, intense action, and great twists. The overarching mystery of what happened to Sidney's parents and how she fits into what's going on in the city is intriguing and suspenseful, and there are moments of heartbreak that add weight to the story. Oh, and of course there's romance (and heat!) to spice things up. The ending both satisfies the reader and teases greater things to come. I can’t wait to see where this goes next.

Destiny (Brightest Kind of Darkness #3) by P.T. Michelle #BookReview
P.T. Michelle takes us on another great, emotional ride in Destiny. Ethan and Nara continue to grow as characters and as a couple. Darker and even more romantic, the stakes are higher than ever in the third installment in the Brightest Kind of Darkness series. Destiny is, without a doubt, a must-read!

Prophecy (Prophecy #1) by Lea Kirk #BookReview
Prophecy is a fun read and it doesn't get too dark even though there's a war going on. Alex is a very relatable heroine and someone you can sympathize with as she's thrust into a battle she never imagined would take place. Gryf is a refreshing hero and his respect (and eventually love) for Alex is felt on every page. Lea Kirk has created a vast world that's full of possibility and opportunities for great stories. Fans of sci-fi romance should definitely give this book a chance!
